Jathedar Giani Kuldip Singh Gargajj Accorded Warm Welcome on Arrival in the United Kingdom
Officiating Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib begins three-day visit; to address Gurmat Samagams in Hayes and Southall
London, July 18: The Officiating Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and Jathedar of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, Giani Kuldip Singh Gargajj, arrived in the United Kingdom today on a three-day visit at the invitation of Nehkaamee Sewa Trust UK.
On his arrival at London Airport, Giani Gargajj was warmly welcomed by members of the local Sikh Sangat and Sikh youth. He was honoured with a siropa (robe of honour) and presented with flower bouquets amid the resounding chants of “Bole So Nihal… Sat Sri Akal!”, reflecting the enthusiasm and devotion of the Sangat.
During his visit, Jathedar Gargajj will participate in a Gurmat Samagam at Gurdwara Guru Garib Niwaz, Hayes, London, organised to commemorate the Parkash Gurpurab of Sri Guru Har Krishan Sahib Ji. He is scheduled to address the Sangat and share his thoughts on Gurmat, Sikh philosophy, and contemporary Panthic issues.
The Samagam is being jointly organised by Nehkaamee Sewa Trust UK, Jatha Panj Pyare Sahibaan UK, Guru Hargobind Sahib Trust UK, and the local Sikh Sangat.
As part of his itinerary, Jathedar Gargajj will also participate in a congregation at Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Southall, where he will interact with members of the Sikh community and exchange views on matters concerning the Sikh Panth.
Accompanying Jathedar Gargajj on the visit is his Media Advisor, S. Jaskaran Singh, who has also arrived in the United Kingdom.
